The main objective of Southern Maryland Shooting Times is to bring Southern Marylands regional hunting and sport shooting community together to share their stories and overall general information from the fields to the ranges.
Southern Maryland Shooting Times is a homegrown online resource directed at all aspects of hunting, competitive shooting, and recreational shooting sports and is dedicated to the Southern Maryland regions of Charles, St. Marys, & Calvert County. SMST is produced by, and for, hunting and sport shooting enthusiasts in Southern Maryland.
Future goals of SMST is not limited to the possibilities of sponsoring outdoor hunting events and shooting sports events. SMST hopes to, in the near future, be able to acquire the resources to host regular turkey shoot events as well as mens, womens, and youth firearm and archery target shooting events, and other outdoor shooting events such as clay, trap, and skeet shooting meets and maybe even progress into sponsored sport shooting team ventures.
SMST is also considering sponsoring programs to offer hunting trips for men, women, youths, and the disabled, who have the interest in hunting but do not have the resource outlets to experience those interests.
Hopefully, Southern Maryland Shooting Times missions and goals will grasp the attention of the Southern Maryland community and gain the support it needs to meet and exceed it's ideas and passions.
